Enquiry is welcomed from prospective members of the Downs Club.
Club rules require new members to be nominated and seconded by current club members.
The application is presented to the club committee. Once passed, membership is put to ballot with members. This process may take up to six weeks, depending on the cycle of committee meetings.
Applicants will be advised by telephone the outcome of their membership application.

For more than 120 years the Downs Club has been an integral part of Toowoomba's history, offering its members unique benefits. Now the club facilities are open to the general public who want to host an event in this special setting.

Seven separate areas can be combined for a maximum capacity of 120 theatre style, 110 dining and 180 for cocktails. For larger functions, a marquee can adjoin the Centenary room, bringing the total capacity to 160 for banqueting.
